Hey. Can anyone give me a detailed answer of the difference in the ovulation discharge and the discharge you get when you are pregnant? How can I tell the difference. Another very important question is… About how long would it take for the discharge to appear if you are pregnant? I had unprotected sex 12 days ago and I am experiencing a good amount of clear discharge but its not stringy. Is it too early to experience this if I am pregnant?

I just started taking the birth control pill, and I was told it would not be effective until the second month, so I assume ovulation still occurs during the first pack, but is it at the normal time (14-18 days after my period) or during the first few days on the pill?

I decided to try ovulation tests, and I bought a bunch of those cheap strips from ebay for starters. Has anybody here used them? Do they work? Or is it worth spending more money and getting branded tests?

My husband and I are trying to conceive, so I’ve been taking ovulation tests. As luck would have it, I got a positive LH surge on Thanksgiving Day…the only day that we wouldn’t be able to have sex. We were not able to have sex until Friday evening. I know that an egg usually lives about 24 hours, so I’m worried that the egg was already gone by then. What I’m confused about though, is when you get the positive LH surge, does that mean you have already ovulated or you are about to?

I was trying to gauge my ovulation by viewing my cervical mucus. For about 4-5 days I had the stretchy egg whites described and then I had two dry days. On the second dry day I had unprotected sex . Is there a god chance i got pregnant?

have been trying to figure out which day I am ovulate by checking my cervical mucus. This last cycle, I had a lot of white/cloudy mucus for about a week and then one day I had the same abundunce of mucus but it looked like egg whites and stretched a few centimeters. I thought that was my ovulation day, however for a week after that I still had quite a bit of mucus that was fairly clear but did not stretch. After that, I was dry. When was my ovulation?

For example based on a urine test do they give a date of when you are supposed to ovulate and is that date accurate?

And the other test which tells whether or not you’re ovulating based on a line, does the line have to be very dark like a pregnancy test’s line is supposed to be "big fat positive" or does a faint line count when it comes to ovulation tests?
